I made this over a few days for ProcJam 2024 as an experiment for generating randomized gardens. The original idea focused more on garden biomes and the interactions that emerged between plants. It was a bit difficult to parse what was going on in those systems, but I liked the movement and presentation so I simplified a lot of the other elements. The mechanical loop of planting and harvesting emerged from there.
I haven't done a quick project like this in a while, it was a fun challenge which gave me a lot of fresh ideas. If you decide to check it out I hope you find it interesting.

You could build your games a lot faster if you used Defold or Godot. I made a 3D game in Godot to learn the engine, and it is lightweight and fast.
I make edutainment games, and my current project that I'm working on is built with Defold. Check out my games' profile on itch.
Your understanding of how colors interact is way ahead of me, and it's an area I'm working on.
I made it to the victory lounge. This is one of my greatest accomplishments as a gamer.
